In the spring of 2013, an intrepid group of alumni added Carleton College to the growing list of fossil fuel divestment campaigns around the country. We made our first public appearance at Reunion 2013, where we shared information about Divest Carleton with other alumni. We include faculty and parents, and are aligned with the student organization of Divest Carleton.

Divest Carleton now has over 3600 signatories on our petition to divest Carleton College from fossil fuels. 507 are current students and 3033 are alumni, representing 71 class years and 10% of Carleton’s alumni population. Please sign our petition to grow our influence!

Our members are spread across the country, but we meet by conference call from 8-9 pm Central Time every other Monday evening. Anyone is welcome; we invite you to join us! Please e-mail divestcarleton@gmail.com, and we’ll send you the conference call-in information.
